2001 Player Handbook

Naturally Fresh Points Qualifying Championship
Players will be competing for points in this season long race based on tournament finishes after making the cut. Players will also receive one point for each pro-am participated in, and an additional point will be issued to the low professional in the pro-am event. At the conclusion of the 2000 season, places 1 through 100 on the points list will participate in the $200,000 Tour Championship at WhiteWater Country Club in Fayetteville, Georgia. The winner of the tournament will receive $60,000.
Requirements:
• The player must be a member of the NGA Tour.
• Players will be allowed to miss 2 official events during the 2000 tournament season for accumulating points.
~ Competing in the U.S. Open Championship does not count as a tournament missed.
~ Players have 2 free misses to use for a PGA/BUY.com Tour events. (i.e. if a player
competes in the BUY.com Hershey Open, Doral Ryder Open, the U.S. Open in Pebble Beach, and has 2 more weeks off, then he is still in the points race even though he has missed 5 tournaments.)
~ For non-exempt members, attempting to Monday Qualify for an event counts toward playing that event.

• The players must carry an NGA Golf Bag.
~ All exempt members will be issued a golf bag. All non-exempt members who wish to compete for the Naturally Fresh Points Qualifying Championship will be able topurchase a golf bag for $100. If a player is under contract to carry a sponsor golf bag, then he must present the contract to the Tour for approval in writing or not compete in the points race.
~ IF A PLAYER FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS AFTER BEING WARNED VERBALLY OR IN WRITING, HE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP.
