The
NGA / Hooters
Tour
has proven year after year to be the most outstanding avenue for players
to display and develop their skills in an extremely competitive atmosphere.
With Hooters of America, Naturally Fresh Foods, and Anheuser-Busch
sponsorship involvement, we provide not only a competitive place to
play, but also a financially rewarding opportunity. Chad Campbell, from
Andrews, Texas, has earned over $750,000 dollars in less than four years.
The 2001 season
will be the best to date with $105,000 - $125,000 guaranteed
purses paying 60 and all ties with a $20,000 first place prize. The
NGA Tour is proud to say that we are the only Developmental Tour
in the country to offer a full week of activities that include 72-Hole
(36 Hole Cut) tournaments, free Coca-Cola sponsored beverages
and snacks each week, free practice rounds, free Strata Tour
range balls, Strata Tour sponsored daily low round bonus, paid
participant pro-ams, junior clinics, and shootouts. The Tour provides
players the opportunity to make money as well as experience all aspects
of life as a touring golf professional. The schedule, which is structured
around geograpical series, exposes the player to new areas weekly and
numerous types of championship golf courses.
For the 2001
season, the NGA /
Hooters Tour will again be conducting Ranking
Schools in order to attain exempt status. Any player signing up for
the 2001 Ranking School will automatically become a member of the NGA
Tour and will be given a "ranking number" based on their performance
at the Ranking School. Each player's ranking number will determine when
during the season a member becomes eligible to play with exempt status.
The NGA /
Hooters Tour prides itself on running professional 72-Hole events with
a knowledgeable staff providing PGA and USGA certified officials. Players
will find the tour exciting and challenging, so join today for the experience
of a lifetime!
